Holool bags the ITP-Technology
Award for “The Best Open Source Company in Middle
East” at GITEX-Riyadh for its contribution to
Information Technology in Saudi Arabia, thus making
Holool a truly global player in the IT arena
Following is the extract from the news item published
in GITEX-Times:
"In fact, Holool made a huge splash at last week’s
Gitex Saudi Arabia by introducing its bilingual version
of the Linux operating system, HOST, in the Saudi Arabian
market. The IT
|
solutions provider, which was established
in Riyadh in 2000, believes its version of the open
source operating system will be a winner due to its
user friendly graphical user interface (GUI) and features.
“HOST allows end user organizations to reduce
information technology costs by enabling them to do
more with less,” said Holool’s Mohammad
Al-Harbi. “We hope to receive a good response
[for HOST] as the Saudi Arabian IT market is a growing
one and this is a great chance for us,” he added.
This year’s Arabian Business Awards ceremony
